Odumbo is a crackhead, two-bit flunkie. McCain handed him his ass.

I’m becoming less disinclined to vote for McCain. Barry Bozo is a great help.

B. Hussein was in south Florida yesterday, pretending like he wanted Jewish votes. I think it was sad to see so many folks applauding him...I don’t think he ever mentioned wanting to open up unconditional dialouge with Ahmandinejead, a man who denies the Holocaust and who recently referred to Israel as a “stinking corpse”.

But a lot of the news reports mentioned this....or not.

This bill is excessive and is yet another “trap” by the dems to make anyone who honestly disagrees look bad.

This bill is ridiculously excessive. Only 8% of all vets take advantage of all the GI benefits afforded them right now. Why would this bill be any different?

Currently, the GI bill allows about $15,000 a year for school and school-related expenses. That goes a long way at many public institutions. This also does not include savings plans avaiable for tuition. There are also agencies such as the Air force Aid Society (and equivalent organizations for the other branches) that provide need-based scholarships to members and their dependents. Finally, there is tuition assistance for those on active duty who want to take classes, usually 50% of the class cost, that is paid for by the service.

The one thing missing is the ability to transfer these benefits to spounses or children—that is what McCain’s bill provides.

I’ve talked with several active duty military members, no one knows very much about the current bill. Perhaps Senator Webb should talk to the service members before he recommends billions of dollars in benefit increases to an already generous educational package provided to our service members.

"Perhaps, if Senator Obama would take the time and trouble to understand this issue he would learn to debate an honest disagreement respectfully. But, as he always does, he prefers impugning the motives of his opponent, and exploiting a thoughtful difference of opinion to advance his own ambitions. If that is how he would behave as President, the country would regret his election."

Handed him his ass indeed.
