Indeed. Perhaps this is what was meant by “the days of Noah.” People are certainly “buying and selling, marrying and being given in marriage,” and are completely oblivious (blinded!) to the danger to their very lives.
Also, “Fear not those who can kill the body, but rather fear Him who can cast both body and soul into hell” takes on a new dimension.
