She has struck me as a strong ally of the oil industry

I was in Alaska during her campain and election. She run more from the point that she wouldn't let the oil companies dictate to Alaska, but Alaska would hold their feet to the fire. Her administration started by raising taxes on oil companies and making the tax increase retroactive.

"that is the worst thing she has done. She is hard core conservative."

She, and Alaska, effectively STOLE money from the oil industry just like Hugo did. I guess our new "conservative" governor, Mr. Jindal, should follow her lead and demand a piece of the action for the state of Louisiana. This is flat-out theft of shareholder profits and equivalent to Alaska state government withdrawing money from the retirement accounts of all who own oil industry stocks. This is conservative?

Heard this. Not much choice since the Conoco statement of a three year study remains outside the process.

No, the proposal was shot down. Nothing was “stolen” as you say. How do I know? I live here and follow it.

The retro-active tax increase was put in place.

If it was “shot down”, how do you explain this?

Like I said, she's just a thug.
