Am I as strange as I think I am?

What's strange is that your attitude, though absolutely correct, has been denormalized by the Nanny Staters.

I am for total freedom and personal responsibility. But, maybe, just maybe, we should be HONEST and limit alochol use to the home just as what is increasingly happening with tobabacco.

How do we reconcile those two ideas?

Assuming in this case, that A) the guy had indeed been drinking, and B) there was no defect in the railing structure, then the fact is it's his and only his own fault.

But juries can be made to blame the ballpark, regardless of that.

And is it worth it, to deprive millions of fans of their responsible enjoyment to save one schmuck?

This makes news because it doesn't happen very often. Most people's sense of self-preservation rules. Should we mourn the loss of those where that's not the case?

I was listening to The John Gibson show yesterday (which is a great show by the way). John Gibson was interviewing Dick Morris and asked him how John McCain could win the election. Dick Morris said John McCain should tell the people, “I'm against smoking.” (Just one of several things, of course). I was appalled. I suppose the hatred for smoking/smokers must be out there. You have to find someone/something to demonize, I guess.

If you only knew just how much I truly despide that little weasel bastard. He’s the one directly responsible for the war on smokers being such a huge success. Back when he worked for the Clintons, he convinved them to start the war on smokers . He didn’t need to convince Hillary much, but had to talk Bill into it. You see, he explained on Vannity & Colmes one night, his mother was a smoker, and died from complications due to it. He stated on that show that his primary goal in life, if he accomplishes nothing else, was to put all tobacco companies out of business. And since the dem party ate out of the Clintons hand back then, the entire party picked it up. The Clintons did more to destroy us than Banzahf or the ACS ever did. Rabid smoker-hating really had no traction until the Clintons began to push it. And since the media adored them, they began a feeding frenzy too.

It’s perfectly ok in his eyes to suck a hookers toes and worship her feet behind his wife’s back, though. I’ll never forget that scandal, and make sure others don’t forget it as well. He’s a sick bastard.

To me, Morris's obsessive hatred of Hillary Clinton has such a gay quality about it.

Every time he opens his mouth about her, an image of Provincetown pops into my mind.

I went to a Rangers/Flyers game at the Gardens one night a while back. My friend had season tickets - best in the house - the last row. We were amongst the few not soaked in beer by the time the fun and frolicking was over.

I remember that — I was at the game, the fan fell fan after it had ended.

Frank Robinson was managing then and made an awful decision regarding a double-switch. The Giants lost because of it. There was a lot of booing and rowdy drunkenness as was common at the ‘Stick, especially in the left field bleachers.

Glad the Giants cleaned that up — Pac-Bell (now AT&T) is a great place to bring the family & enjoy the game. Not a bad seat in the house.
