Not looking for a argument here, but isn't McCain it? I don't think there is any procedure to select a different candidate, unless McCain drops out. But I could be wrong.

I don't know about you, and your choice on who and how you vote is none of my business, but I will not vote for McAmnesty and if I even get to the polls on November 4th, I will either vote for a 3rd Party candidate or leave that column blank.

Note that I am not a member of the Republican Party, nor am I a "member" of any political party!

If McCain has difficulty now understanding what happened to his amnesty bill last year, imagine how he's going to be when he gets to the convention and can't remember his own name.

Yup, he's on a slide now. Everybody best prepare to get a new candidate, and not that guy Crist. He's just as nuts as McCain.

I think it’s possible, but unlikely. My understanding, explained to me by another Freeper, is that after the first round of balloting all bets are off, but McCain is almost certain to win on the first ballot. Although if anyone wants to organize a “torches and pitchforks” march on the convention I’m all for it. We need to wake up the party somehow.

I won’t vote for him, either. No way, no how.

And FWIW, according to Gallup, 76% of Republicans are unhappy with McCain being the nominee.
