Google is not your friend as the Word Adam used in Genesis has this meaning.

OT:119
‘adam (aw-dam’); to show blood (in the face), i.e. flush or turn rosy:

KJV - be (dyed, made) red (ruddy).
(Biblesoft’s New Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance with Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary. Copyright (c) 1994, Biblesoft and International Bible Translators, Inc.)

The word ruddy is applied to David just as he was being anointed King of Israel.

Adam called his wife Eve which is the Strong's 2332 and means the following....

OT:2332
Chavvah (khav-vaw’); causatively from OT:2331; life-giver; Chavvah (or Eve), the first woman:

KJV - Eve.
(Biblesoft’s New Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance with Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary. Copyright (c) 1994, Biblesoft and International Bible Translators, Inc.)

Again Google is NOT your friend.

Google is my friend as it refers to my posts. I already saw the dictionary’s entry for blushing and find the /opinion/ wrong; its use is for dying or rubbing. The Strong’s has another word for blushing but it’s the same meaning as to show shame.

And Eve is still not her name; it’s a weird mutation over Latin (no “k” or “ch” sound) and English. Read carefully next time.
