There is the story of a FreeMason who wanted to confess his sins on his death bed to a Catholic priest.

This occurred in Italy. The FreeMason was not a Catholic.

The house was surrounded by brother FreeMasons who did not want him to confess to a Catholic priest at his death.

However, a grace was granted that the man's wife had a baby girl. The FreeMasons surrounding the house allowed a priest in becuase of the birth -- many families baptize babies as soon as they are born for fear that they might die without being baptized.

The man was able to go to confession.

Many years later, the baby girl, now grown, went to confession in the Vatican. Padre Pio heard her confession and told her he was responsible for her father having a chance for being able to go to confession before his death.

This was unusual, as Padre Pio appeared to the young lady via bilocution.
