At a campaign appearance in Cincinnati, McCain introduced Parsley as "one of the truly great leaders in America, a moral compass, a spiritual guide."
I agree.

Islam is anti anyone who is not one of them. Join their cult of death, or die.

"America was founded with the intention of seeing this false religion destroyed," Parsley says
Ok, I agree with his assessment of Islam, Mohammed, etc., but this one line irks me. America was founded "form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity". Not to eliminate an entire religious system. It may end up being our legacy, but is not why we were founded.

“the mouthpiece of a conspiracy of spiritual evil.”
Evil is spiritual by its very nature.

You are absolutely right! Good for him!

Actually, Rev. Parsley is dead on target.
The problem is...he’s not exactly a mainstream pastor. He and his church, World Harvest Church in Columbus, OH, is seriously into ‘name-it-and-claim-it’ theology, and is a major supporter/program provider at TBN. If you’ve ever seen his program (”Breakthrough”), you’d plainly see this. He may not have said the same kinds of things as John Hagee, but his preaching is just a little...intense.
So, while what he says is true, it should be taken with a rather large grain of salt.

I just love how they keep trying to equate these things to Obama and his PASTOR. Whether they admit it or not, that’s exactly what they are trying to do with these articles...
There is a difference between reaching out to preachers for support of a campaign and such, and being mentored by a man for 20 years. Who is to say that McCain even knew this guy said these things (disregarding if it’s true or not for a moment)? On the other hand, Obama sat and listened for 20 years, and there is no way he didn’t know exactly what brand of religion and world-view Wright possessed...
Nice try, ABC, but you’ll have to do better than this! And, I don’t even particularly like McCain, but I can tell this is a desperate attempt to discredit him...

Anyone see the start of Good Morning America today? They were running clips of this pastor and then going to clips of McCain, back and forth. It was titled “McCain’s pastor problem.” Where all all the “moderate” muslims speaking out against all this terroism? I don’t see a problem.
