Interesting post. I agree with some of your points. My bottom line is the U.S. military and the SCOTUS. That's what it will come down to for me.

The other major point for McCain is that Ronald Reagan is not waiting in the wings to come and save us again. He is gone, God rest him. We simply cannot afford the possibility of a 4-8-or possibly-16 yrs. of hard core socialism.

Just look at Great Britain. Their meteoric slide into Clockwork Orange Land has only taken a few short years.
Polygamy is illegal in GB, but last month the Muslims were awarded welfare benefits for multiple wives and children.
The Swiss just recently held a gov’t conference to consider the plight of flora and fauna, the feelings of plants and the proper respect for those feelings. Germany has arrested parents who choose to homeschool their children. In one case, they put a 13 yr. old girl in a mental institution because she declared herself a Christian. Every day, here on FR, you can learn about hundreds of these examples.

Here in the U.S., we have an unknown entity who will likely be the Dem candidate for POTUS. Is he Muslim or just black liberation racist Christian? Is he a legal scholar when he cannot even understand our capital gains tax system? If he loves America, why does he want to change it? What does “hope and change” mean to this man anyway? All that...and he has a shot at being our leader. Nope. No way in hell.

Somebody here has a tagline that states, “McCain couldn't make me vote for him, but Obama did”. That's exactly the way I see it.

There are some young, strong, conservative Republicans around the country. It may be up to us to find them, get them noticed and recognized and then support them all the way to the top. We must start working at the grass roots.

We've gone too long accepting the unacceptable. We have to work to get where we want to be. We are more fortunate than libs, because we truly believe God has blessed America. I believe He will continue to do so, if we work, if we pray and if we have faith.
