Iran must be one of those 57 states Obama plans to visit as President.

I liked the cartoon posted here, where Obama asks him to baptize his child.

Obama can give his new friends another high profile opportunity to deny involvement in the 1983 Beirut barracks murders.

Excellent explanation of what harm Obama would do by meeting with Ahmadinejad.

Obama’s idea of talking to Iran is idiocy.
But on the other hand, what’s McCain going to do? He insists that talking to Iran would be foolish, but he’s not told us what he’d do instead.
If he were going to attack, then I could understand why he would not tell us. But I don’t think he’s going to do that.
The truth is that Bush has already had a dialogue with Iran. We’ve had diplomatic contacts with them. More importantly, we’ve sent the Europeans to talk to Iran, and they got no where. In fact, what Bush has been doing with Iran is simply the good cop, bad cop routine, just as he did with North Korea. That is about the best strategy you can have, short of invasion, but it doesn’t seem to be working, and it did not work with North Korea.
I think that in the end, the US will simply give nukes to the Gulf Arab States to act as a counterweight to Iran when they have the bomb.
