“We have become sometimes saddened and sometimes angered by what Michael Savage has said,” Arif Ahmad of the Islamic Center of Johnson County said Sunday. “We have to tell everyone, you become a star by bringing people together, not by dividing them.”

Islam teaches to divide people. And slaughter. And kill. For Allah.

Sura (2:191-193) - "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution of Muslims is worse than slaughter of non-believers...and fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."

Sura (5:33) - "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement"

Sura (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

Bukhari (52:177) - Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."

Tabari 7:97 The morning after the murder of Ashraf, the Prophet declared,"Kill any Jew who falls under your power."

Ibn Ishaq: 327 - “Allah said, ‘A prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.’”

I’ve heard Savage express admiration for all true religions many more times than other radio hosts,

I am guessing that this inter-faith coalition is made up of activists who use religion as a mask

“I think that says a lot about our nation and validates what Savage is saying.”

Maybe to some degree. I can see where conservatives trapped in liberal cities might want to get out some frustration by listening to him.

Personally, I don’t see the attraction. He appears to be a hater more than a problem solver or thinker.

“Did you ever hear Savage say GD America, or target, and make hateful comments about the skin color of a person?”

Are those the only two qualifiers of what can be considered “hate speech”? America and skin color?

Why doesn’t the Interfaith Collective Against Individual Rights get a radio show and deliver us from evil. /sarcasm

Who cares? You brought up Wright for some reason and I'm not interested in comparing Savage with Wright. If you have a statement to make in this regard, then go ahead.

I don’t like Savage either, but I use the tool at my disposal when he comes on the radio - change the station.

The alternative is the 2 guys on 980, who are leaning more and more on the liberal side of moderate every time I hear them. Plus you run the risk of hearing the same 3 Darla Jay commercials 8-12 times.

The only thing I like about Savage is the music when he comes on.

Excellent!

That would make for a good email to send to KCMO.

“Representatives from several faiths, including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism and Sikhism”

In other words, Muslims and dhimmis.

Representatives from several faiths, including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism and Sikhism, were meeting for the first time as the Interfaith Coalition Against Bigotry of Useful Idiots

Religious people should actually make sure that they correctly identify who they are and show no guile.

“If you have a statement to make in this regard, then go ahead.”

I did. I see Savage as a hater, playing to other haters. No intellect, no realistic problem solving, just red meat for the hungry dogs.

Much like Wright except nobody here seemed to think accusations of his “hate speech” were leftist speech codes.

I just listened to him for the first time, (here in Italy) via a Youtube interview with Rev. Manning, the black anti-Obama preacher who works out of Harlem.

I’m white and Catholic and so a guy like Rev. Manning is way too colorful, megalomaniac, frenzied for me. But - I guess - like Savage himself vis-a-vis Muslims, there is plenty of hard, nasty truth there concerning the plight of blacks. Truer, nastier, rougher stuff than presently allowed or considered decent.

Well one can choose to listen or switch off, but it would be a disservice to democracy to ban / cancel these types of people, with their hard, nasty-truth opinions when their ideologocal adversaries not only have free reign, but practical control of the Media / Power structures.

IMHO there are plenty of good reasons to at least start to consider policies of expulsion / repatriation for Muslims.

Most of their clergy are terror-supporters... and ideals - I mean “our” ideals, were never meant to whitewash/hide the truth.

He may be angry at times, but a hater? That's a stretch.

Nothing like Wright at all.

Note to Interfaith Coalition Against Bigotry:

Change the channel. You really don’t HAVE to listen.
