If this turns out to be a bust I'm gonna have to eat a LOT of Left Wing, Liberal, Moonbat crow...
Well, I know of one scientist who I went to school with at U of Chicago. PhD in chemistry. I looked up his name ... John Pittman Hey (pronounced "high"), and he was on it. I know that he wouldn't buy into this malarkey. So at least one name is legit.
The U of Chicago is a troubled school, but in my frosh core curriculum course that touched on weather, the instructor (not a grad student), explained how the "greenhouse effect" (as it was called then) was logically impossible, and was a misnomer. Unfortunately, not being interested in the subject matter, I did not remember the reasoning past the end of the quarter.

I don't listen to Rush much anymore, but one of his profoundest reminders is "
follow the money".
Seems that Dupont came up with a miraculous replacement for it's older, patent-expiring Freon, when "scientists" claimed Freon was making holes in the ozone... and just as miraculously, they found Freon had no effect on the upper atmosphere! Hmmmmmm...
Of course, I am not a "scientist", have never stayed at HI Express, and have no way to know either way!
