Dawn Stefanowicz grew up with a homosexual father and weak mother in Canada. She has written a book about her experiences growing up called “Out From Under”. Her website is at http://www.dawnstefanowicz.com/ . I’m sure that we will be hearing more from the children who have grown up in these situations in years to come.

I'm not sure that any former dealings had bearings on this election.  The party didn't seem to do a damned thing for Lungren either.  Unless it's the cosumate leftist, they don't seem to even be aware an election is in the works.

1998    Lungren
2002    Simon

No one is even beginning to address the problems with “benefits” that are earned in the workplace. If I were running a company, I would not want to be in the position of financial ruin trying to pay health premiums on gay men and their partners with the huge expenses associated with AIDS.

If marriage isn’t one man/one woman as Kalifornia has ruled, then it can be anything any adult or group of adults want it to be.”

What would a ruling like this do for the FLDS?????

Maybe the changes won’t be as dramatic as you think. I’ve read that since Canada ok’d same sex marriage, only 5% of the gay population has taken advantage of it.

your idea about buxom women may be true....it seems that women of normal proportions in general were more revered than now...now, its bleach blonde, silicon breasts on a horribly thin woman and that is what passes as beauty.....

Kate Smith...the singer.....she wouldn't have a chance in todays' world....just not the right picture perfect body.....

“Was there anything worth more fighting for?”

Oh I don’t know: hunger, homelessness, war are just a few that come to the top of my head.

Please someone show me where in the Bible marriage is defined as on man and one woman (if you refer to Adam and Eve, remember a lot of the folks that followed did NOT live in one man/one woman relationships).

If we are to live “morally”, by whose morally shall we live: Protestant, Jewish, Catholic, Muslim, atheist?

It has always been a dance between supporting what the majority wants versus the rights of the minority.

Health insurance will go up as hetereosexual roomates will get “married” to half medical insurance costs...all of a sudden all the hipsters sharing Malibu Beach apartments will suddenly “fall in love” and get “married”. Maybe get a tax break also by filing joint income tax returns...

Yes, indeed.
Back when ‘family planning’ meant looking forward to the blessing of children,
voluptuous women were the ideal.

As society began to not only see children as a hindrance, but as sexual objects
(i.e. NAMBLA), perceptions about the ideal woman have become artificial.
Like you say, silicon breasts, plastic surgery, boyish hips...

As if that’s a replacement for love. I think our society is desperately hungry for real mother-love, don’t you?

Genuine masculinity and femininity is a blend that can’t be mocked by pseudo-marriage.
