Texas sect parents complain of vague custody plans
Fort Worth Star-Telegram ^ | Mon, May. 19, 2008 | MICHELLE ROBERTS

Posted on 05/19/2008 5:15:16 PM PDT by Soliton

Donna Guion, an attorney for the mother of a 6-year-old son of the sect's jailed prophet, Warren Jeffs, complained the plans were so vague they would be impossible to satisfy and were contingent on psychological evaluations likely to take weeks more to complete.

"This plan is so vague and so broad that my client has no idea what she can do now," Guion said of the boy's mother.

So what? The parents are participating in the rape of young teen girls for starters. You are obviously of the Jeff’s crowd with your hysterical posts.

You don’t live here so mind your own business. I, on the other hand DO live here and I don’t like a bunch of pedophines and bigamists setting up camp infecting this State like they have Utah, Arizona, Colorado and who else knows...not to mention the fact that I, as a taxpayer, have helped build their unauthorized prison for women.

The facts of the case are such that their past history (very recent history) and widespread complaints from young women (ignored by Colorado City, AZ), not to mention their founder Warren Jeffs is in prison and the terrible ratio of boys to girls. Child rape factory. The mothers are complicit in crimes against children. This is still an ongoing investigation. One mother under 16 has already had a baby since this started. Another claimes she is over 18 but no one knows because they lie over and over. When you have a 20-year old mother of 5, there is something wrong here. Some other older moms (30+) have 12 kids. They have to perform DNA just to find out who the parents really are. They may have been illegally taken across State lines and or kidnapped.

Not just one person you moron. A child from there just had a baby a couple weeks ago. She won’t name the father. Most of the men at the compound have taken off. Another female also had a child but her age is in dispute because of the deception and lies told even by the “grown” women there. If you have to lie over and over...you are hiding something.

Stupid question. You know very well the investigation is ongoing. They are trying to sort out who the parents of these kids are? DNA will find out who the mothers are...the dads are mostly on the run.

“Others lived as traditional nuclear families in their own housing on the ranch.”

How do you know? Do you believe everything CPS and the meida say? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....actually, that particular point has never been made to the public. I have never heard that before today. Congratulations, you have been discovered as a resident of YFZ Ranch.

I doubt that person is from Texas. I live in Round Rock. We have been cheering the State for shutting down that child rape factory.

Yes there is an ABUSE of TAXPAYERS -- it will cost the TEXAS TAXPAYERS 21 million dollars. 21 million dollars abuse to the people of Texas.

I do not care if my neighbor is a polygamist, is gay or in a traditional marriage, if he is a productive citizen, and YFZ Ranch was productive, it is NONE OF MY BUSINESS.

Lady, you must be a liberal. I wish I had time to know if a bunch of pedophiles and bigamists was in my own. Oh well, unlike yoou, I'm a PRODUCTIVE member of SOCIETY and I will fight for INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS - EVEN IF I DO NOT AGREE WITH THEM. I wouldn't want to be a polygamist, but why should I tell someone what he or she can do in their bedroom - with CONSENTING ADULTS, which is in Texas 16 IIRC. I didn't see where in Texas that polygamy is ILLEGAL, so I believe that TAXPAYERS of Texas is getting screwed.

It’s all for the children! How DARE you even QUESTION the wisdom of all this!

I'll question it because it is AN ABUSE of the TAXPAYERS of TEXAS! It will cost the TAXPAYERS 21 million dollars to rip the families apart. I bet sometime soon, the state will ask the TAXPAYERS of the US to pick up the tab.

It's for the children...A typical LIBERAL reponse -- BS!

Those ‘nuclear families’ claimed benefits from the State of Texas. That is hardly being productive citizens. You casually claim that YFZ was productive and define them incorrectly as being nuclear families. They are not. They operate more like mult-nuclei cells. There is one man (the cell) and several nuclei (women). The children might, in your model, be the cytoplasm. This pattern is repeated many times over at the compound. All this is immaterial to me and to you, as you so loudly declare. Fundamentally, they have conned Texas taxpayers into subsidizing their child-abusing ‘nuclear families’. Many of us, including atruelady do take issue with that.

Please don’t raise your voice at me or anybody else. Thanks, and have a great day.

OMG! Me, a liberal. Check my post since 2003. I am probably more conservative than you are. Not agreeing with someone’s right to due process is not the same as not agreeing to someone’s right to rape a child and force them into a never-ending trap of bearing children saying she will go to hell if she doesn’t.

You also don’t recognize the massive welfare-fraud too. And the huge number of young men tossed out of the cult because they are competition for the old pedophiles.

You ignore the facts of the case...THIS MAKES YOU A LIBERAL and probably a card-carrying member of the American Criminals Lawyers Union.

True. I do stand by Texas for doing this. Those creepy people have started moving from state to state with their organized crime here (where are RICO warrants?). They have gotten away with it in other states. I wonder why Arizona of all places doesn’t crack down on them. Colorado City local gov. and law enforcement are riddled with FDLS and the lack of action on complaints filed by young women are growing. Seems to me the FBI should be investigating civil-rights violations under color of law.

EagleandLiberty misses the point completely. The children are defenseless. The women are brainwashed something awful. There is no free choice here but they milk social services for all they are worth.

Seems to me a lot of cases of felony non-support of children will be filed on the men. Most of the men scattered.

I lived in Texas for ten years, during which time Señor Hairdo was/is governor. Anyway, I think the Texas Pubbies are state-power porkers first, R or D optional.
