Perhaps if he or Cheney did that, the rank and file would follow. Right now the Republicans are completely directionless with no real spokesman an no coherent arguments on the issues. They need to crank up the fax and PR machinery and at least make a fight of it this year against the Rats, even if they go down swinging they will have fought the good fight.
