But Obama’s plan to increase taxes and cut benefits to SS recipients DOESN’T threaten them?

Any day now Obambi will announce that the new retirement age for receiving SS is 99. Poof! One major problem solved.

Hosanna Obambi!

All praise the Oessiah! He will SAVE us from ourselves!

God save the Republic! I thought Kerry was the most incompetent unfit clown to ever run for the Presidency. Guess the Democrats have yet to show us their worst

Obama has rejected both ideas as solutions to the funding crisis projected for Social Security in favor of making higher-income workers pay more into the system.

Tax the rich. A new kind of Democrat?

Seniors are the only group that has nothing to fear from changes in Social Security—their benefits are locked in. It is the younger folks that need to be afraid of the no-solution Democrats. Only path for them: invest on their own—that's right, personal privatization is the only answer to non-privitization by the govt.

Every senior should know this by now!

Yeah, you would think. But its just amazing (& sad) to watch how seniors fixate on SS as they get older. My father used to be a fiscal conservative in his younger days. Now, at 80, he is a one issue vote—and that issue is SS. All he talks about is how he is afraid of losing his SS and that is all he cares about: not Iraq, not the deficit, not illegal immigration. It is very sad that these folks would be exploited in the dottage, but the Dems have no shame.

Obama’s camp is so quick to scream “FEARMONGER” at any republican who wants to talk about military strength,
terrorist attacks, etc. Yet, his followers are using fear of the sort seen here. Now he is trying to alarm those on Medicare. His followers are all promising that Roe v Wade will be overturned the minute McCain steps into office. Yet, they claim it is the Republicans who are using fear as a tactic.

I think less and less of this man as the days go on. That’s getting harder to do now.

The DhimmiRats have been lying for so long, they couldn’t recognize the truth if it was written on a cue card for them.
This erroneous, out-dated piece of drivel has been dragged out of the closet, yet again...and this time by the ‘new and fresh candidate’.
Playing on the fears of the elderly, by keeping the truth from them at any cost, is patently offensive and should be answered EVERY time it is puked up by these progressive idiots.

There’s a photo of this on Yahoo! The podium was set up in the middle, and Obama’s back was facing about a dozen or so residents as he spoke. That’s a surefire way to get a vote!

Oh my goodness. We can’t privatize Social Security. Why, if we did that people might realize what a sham it is now. Dang! We can’t allow that.

Urkel is just following the Dem’s Standard Operating Procedure. I’m just surprised he’s doing it this early in the campaign.

It was a day of coastal campaigning...

Obama was in Oregon, where he is favored to win the state's presidential primary on Tuesday. Hillary Rodham Clinton spent a second straight day in Kentucky...

Stupid Imperial Federal Government Schools educated reporter.

Oh, wait, I'm sorry. I forgot that they have quit teaching US geography. Gotta spend that time getting in touch with your precious "inner feelings." Or learning it's okay to be a queer.

Barack Obama is a liar.

He tells seniors that privatization threatens their Social Security, however, every proposal exempted those over 50 from having their benefits changed.

He lies to spread fear.

Her mood appeared to brighten by the time she arrived for a rally at West Kentucky University.

The lack of reporting skill just continues. The school's name is Western Kentucky University.

Obama is for hope and change? No, he panders and demagogues the old fashioned way.

It was a day of coastal campaigning for the two Democrats still competing for the party's presidential nomination.

Obama was in Oregon, where he is favored to win the state's presidential primary on Tuesday. Hillary Rodham Clinton spent a second straight day in Kentucky, where she is favored to win when its voters head to the polls the same day.

Er, what coast was that again?
