There was an article about this in our paper yesterday too. The bay and Gulf shrimp are there, but with the price of fuel, they need twice the catch and many are just shutting things down.
Used to have one of the Gulfs largest fleets about 35 miles from here. With the implementation of TED's, they moved to Mexico.
