“Until Israel declares total, unlimited war on the palis “

Not likely. Israel depends far too much on the goodwill of a lot of people outside Israel that have slightly different interests. They will only go so far. Its no good complaining about that either. Israel has always had to steer a delicate course between the necessary and the feasible.

“they will forever suffer from this thorn in their side.”

And they will indeed, there is nothing that anyone can do about that. Its the human condition. Lions will not lie down with lambs anytime soon.

No it’s not likely, not with the weak leaders they have now, but they are rapidly running out of options. They do nothing and the world hates them, they do something and the world hates them.

At this point, they have little to lose except more Israeli lives. Condi and the Weak Sisters of Perpetual Appeasement at the state department have already shown they are no friend to Israel, not with their iron shod stance of pushing Israel into national suicide with the “two state solution” death warrant before the end of this presidential term.

I wouldn’t let my neighbor shoot rockets into my yard and burn my fields without stopping him. If the police wouldn’t step in and the only option left to stop him from endangering me and mine was violence, then I would be remiss in my obligation to protecting my family if I didn’t bring hell down upon him.
