Obviously sports were not factored in on this “miserable” list. Two of Detroit’s teams (Pistons and Red Wings) are in the final 4 teams left. I think that should account for something...at least it allows people to get away from the every day problems for a couple hours each day.

And our college teams always play to sellout crowds, even when they're having off seasons. I wish like heck the Tigers would start living up to their enormous paycheck...

The Lansing Lugnuts are great fun to watch. We're lucky to have a minor league team here. The stadium is beautiful.
