Spitting on Americans: Newsweek, New York Times, Liberals Want Obama in The White House;

A New York Times story is critical of John McCain for saying last week that a political adviser to the Hamas terror group says the organization is pulling for Barack Obama. Times reporter Larry Rohter calls McCain’s statement a "portrayal".

But Ahmed Yousef clearly stated on April 13, "We like Mr. Obama and we hope that he will win the election."

The Times also writes McCain is wrong for saying Obama has said he would hold unconditional talks with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Rohter includes a denial by Obama foreign policy adviser Susan Rice. However, Obama said during a debate last July that he would meet with the leaders of several countries, including Iran. He reiterated that during an interview with Tim Russert April 30.

And his Web site says, "Obama is the only major candidate who supports tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions."

On Sunday, Warner Todd Huston — from NewsBusters.org — apprised readers of a truly disgraceful Newsweek article which continued to demonstrate just how in the tank the liberal media is for Obama.

On Monday, the good folks at National Review Online were similarly outraged, and expressed concern about Newsweek's obvious lack of impartiality. NRO took issue with Newsweek's reference to the McCain campaign's "letter suggesting Obama was the candidate of Hamas" without explaining what precipitated it:

NRO says:

""Really, if Newsweek is going to write [about this McCain campaign letter], you would think their readers might deserve to know what prompted McCain's campaign to suggest that Obama is the candidate of Hamas, i.e., top Hamas political adviser Ahmed Yousef saying the terrorist group supports Obama’s foreign-policy vision and hopes he wins:

"We don’t mind–actually we like Obama. We hope he will [win] the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle, and he has a vision to change America to make it in a position to lead the world community but not with domination and arrogance," Yousef said in response to a question about the group’s willingness to meet with either of the Democratic presidential candidates.

[And one of Obama's] advisers, Rob Malley, was holding meetings with Hamas, and Obama's promised to hold unconditional face-to-face presidential summits with the guy who's funding and encouraging Hamas.""

Every day I wonder when I am going to wake up from this nightmare. It positively surreal. Everything, Energy Policy, National Security, Tax policy, Economic policy etc is wholly upside down. Everything the Democrats are purposing to “Solve” problems will make them much much much worse. Nothing being purposed by Obama is anything different then what Carter did between 1976 and 1980!

Time to post this:

It’s difficult to imagine they are so blatantly antiAmerican!

See this :

Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left

And a review:

**********************************

By  Kat Bakhu (Albuquerque, NM United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left (Hardcover)
I had long wondered why people on the Left had the propensity to speak more positively about people who would slit their throats than they do about their own country, which affords them more freedom and opportunity than anywhere else. David Horowitz has answered that question thoroughly and convincingly in his Unholy Alliance. Where I felt bewildered and confused, I now feel crystal clear. Unholy Alliance is such a great book.

It begins with the leftist movements at the beginning of the 20th Century, and works its way up to the present day, exploring the anti-American attitude of these movements in detail. Horowitz shows that the enemies of the US back then are largely the same group today, operating under the same misperceptions, making the same mistakes, and pursuing the same impossible utopia.

Individual chapters are included on the Patriot Act (I was persuaded that it is a GOOD thing); the democratic flip-flop on Iraq once G.W. Bush implemented what they agreed with Clinton needed to be done; the driving components of the current anti-war movement; as well as chapters on individual personalities who are major spokespeople of the Left. Horowitz covers a lot of ground, and he covers it concisely and clearly. Unholy Alliance is richly informative without ever being boring or plodding.

This book is so illuminating that I simply cannot do justice to it here. I love people who reason so clearly that they help me get my own reasoning clear. Horowitz is just that type of person! In the terrain of mindless clichés (no-blood-for-oil, etc.), he is a breath of real fresh air.

“However, man made (really American) global warming is also one of the biggest hoaxes ever.”

If you didn’t catch Rep. Dana Rohrabacher’s House floor speech this week ripping global warming:

In 1984 Jimmy Carter WENT TO THE USSR and promised all sorts of favorable diplomatic concessions if MONDALE WON.

Jimmy Carter as the USSR for help in tilting an AMERICAN ELECTION!

What influence did the USSR have in an american election?! (for those in Rio Linda the USSR has funded peace groups and anti nuke groups since the 1950s. The essentially took over the US agriculture department for a period of time.)

We need a conservative Media. A conservative national newspaper chain to rival the kuckleheads that run things. We need to set up a newspaper—even if its just on the net.
We have the market, we have the talent all we need is a leader to set it into motion. A man of money to back things, a William Randolph Hearst of our era (without the mistress or castle). Would you subscribe? I would.
We could get conservative columnists, conservative reporters, conservative cartoons. We need something that goes beyond what movie star who as killed themselves off with drugs and what Too bitt Science group says about polar bears or global warming. We need solid reporting. Stories that are ignored. Like the Tory victories in England and the capture of pirates by France. We need to know the truth in a fast changing world. I am reminded of what Sam Houston once said:”the Truth Burns, but Burns Clean.”

I’ve never seen such a lying media or candidate in my life... blatant lies and omissions. Disgusting.

Have you forgotten Slick Willie's two campaigns? As bad then as now.
