This highlights how the Judiciary has become much better under George W Bush. He had to be drug a bit into giving us Sam Alito but can anyone, even the harshest Conservative critics say President Bush has not delivered two of the most consistently conservative judges of any President since Reagan? The challenge is getting the message out. John McCain will only give us conservative judges if conservatives support him and the election of a conservative Republican House and Senate. We should look at the goal as not just to get McCain elected but to make sure he is elected in an environment where Republicans have gained ground because of conservatives not lost it due to them.

Can this be done? I don’t know but when I think of my country and my children I think it is possible. The left is a horrible monster than must be slain at every chance. We can not hide in our castles because our knights are a bit rusty. We should learn a bit from the radical left. They don’t have the power they do over the Democrat party because they are great in numbers but because they control the message.

I wish I had your confidence. McQueeg seems like more of a David Souter than Sam Alito sort of guy. His pals in the cocktail circuit would stop talking to him if he nominated another Alito. He wouldn’t care if we got upset with him for picking a Souter.
