SAN FRANCISCO - The California Supreme Court ruling legalizing gay marriage will not be the last word. California voters will almost certainly hold a referendum on a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage in November, and for the first time anywhere in the U.S., the vote will have a direct and immediate effect on gay couples waiting to tie the knot. The amendment needs a simple majority to pass, and if the voters reject gay marriage, their decision will supersede the high court’s. There are signs the contest’s outcome will be close.

I figure gun owners and ammo buyers will be the first targets. Because of registration laws, computers and barcodes they could probably build a very comprehensive list.

Sometimes I wonder about all these gangs and terrorist groups that our government won’t touch with a ten foot pole.
Like if things got really bad, would our government use them as shock troops?

It may be a very far fetched theory, but in a way, they do already. Consider how the law abiding are targeted for disarmament. Also, consider the places you go and the things you do, which can be very limited due to all these people being on the loose.

There are far too many laws on the books. More and more, it’s about controlling every aspect of our lives and making us completely dependent on government. There are so many laws that I am probably a felon and don’t even know it!

Maybe that is why they seem to be working so hard to eliminate the middle class. The middle class has some means of resistance. If they eliminate the middle class all that will be left are the very rich and the very poor. A massive populace entirely dependent on the government.
They can dictate where we live and how we live by writing laws and forcing us into poverty with their policies. Are they looking to increase the slave class exponentially?

That is one thing that makes sense to me regarding why our government seems to be so intent on destroying us from within. To a certain extent, taking away everything a person has can render them voiceless and powerless to hold our government accountable. They are freer an freer to run over the people every day.

My other theory is that they wanted to please the rest of the world so bad that they’ve dug themselves into a hole full of quicksand they can’t get out of and we’re paying for it.

Then there’s John Hagee’s “Age of Deception”. I can’t decide which one of these three is actually happening.

How much freedom do the citizens have anymore? Our country is starting to resemble a communist style police state but we are deluded into thinking we have freedom because unlike the standard communist, we are allowed to vote. I often wonder exactly how much of the money floating around in our economy is related to the crime industry.

Our country is rumored to be a constitutional republic. IMHO, it is a false rumor. How many of us are being represented?

I am not politically or historically savvy enough to assign the right name to what our government has morphed into.
