McCain, like Fred, is a Federalist = Federalism means STATES RIGHTS
I believe some 90+% of Americans don't even realize that America is a Federalist Nation...and they all think the power should come from DC

There are 50 million people in Iraq and Afghanistan who are eternally greatful that Obama's policies were not in place...they are free to do so now because of Bush.
There has not been a major terror attack on our soil since 911, because of Bush and taking the fight to the enemy on their turf.
...and in the process, Iran, who is the chief sponsor of terror, is surrounded by our forces now, who are ready to attack should we need to.
Obama would have the world still living with Saddam Hussein, and an inabaility for us to respond to either him or Iran, and with terrorists having sanctuary states...and he calls that world safer.
I pray the American people will have the wisdom to see the difference.

You’re welcome.
I always prefer reading his real words (or watching the whole video), not those highlighted by the media.

Just saw this on the news today..and following this was B Obama’s rebuttal..What was interesting was to see all the white faces behind him as he was speaking..not one black person in tha group..and in another shot of him working the rope line the folks were all white..
I guess this is to bulk up the notion that lots of us “typical white folks” are supporting him and his views.
To: Jeff Head
What is even more funny is...a black guy with white hands.

Over the years, I haven't agreed with the NRA on every issue. I have supported efforts to have NICS background checks apply to gun sales at gun shows. Clinton didn't know what the word "is" means. McCain apparently doesn't understand what the word "infringe" means.
Maybe they can turn that into a campaign slogan. "Vote McCain; he isn't quite as stupid as Bubba."
To: GoldenPup
hehehe...just look at them as gloves.

Sounds nice, but is he going to un-do the damage to anti-gun fascists have already done? Making noise is one thing, but we're way past the point that we need a candidate that is merely for holding onto the status quo or opposing further erosion of the same. We need a leader that will restore Constitutional gun rights.

I also oppose efforts to require federal regulation of all private sales such as the transfer between a father and son or husband and wife. Oh yay. Let me truly appreciate that McCain doesn't want to regulate transfers between relatives.
Shoot me now.
