Fact is he is ALREADY a Marine. According to the regulations he MUST abide by, he must be in full dress, utilities, or uniform of the day, unless on leave.
For me, I would be the proudest parent in the whole building to see my son, who made his choice to defend the nation, walk across that stage in his full dress uniform to accept a diploma.
