The problem is that the average Joe voter cannot define appeasement much less care about who calls who one. This little quip is lost on most voters. Hussein needs to be attacked on his liberal domestic issues and lack of experience and character.

This being an erudite crowd, I’m sure you all remember the Monty Python skit “The Funniest Joke in the World” where the comedian wrote a joke so funny it was lethal. The Brits translated it into German and unleashed “joke warfare” on the Germans. The FUNNIEST part of the skit was the quip that the new joke was “20 times deadlier that Britain’s pre-war joke.” Cut to clip of Chamberlain waiving his scrap of paper around. Now, THAT was hilarious! I got it. Today, how many high school seniors would?
