I think Hamas has been effectively neutered. They have no bargaining power and can't launch any large scale attacks on Israel as they were able to do before. They were elected by the people which originally gave the people a sense of worth but just like the Democrats, Hamas as abandoned the people in pursue of battling Israel and the people know it.

Oh please, the “Quartet” of Russia, UK, US, Spain, that formed in 2002, devised this stupid “Road Map to Peace”, under the UN’s balderdash,just to pretend like they were doing something for the Pals.

Everyone knew, including President Bush, that decades long rationalizations by the Islamic Cults, ie, Hamas, that they wanted a “seat at the table” was never going to happen.

And Hamas has proved themselves unable to govern, for the world to see. Their bluff has been called, they have failed. Israel has ever right to attack, and defend themselves, and the "world" is running out of excuses for terrorists.
