well, i kinda agree with that one. When Muslims vote, they just for the most insane religious party. Bush legitimized Hamas by pushing elections.

Iraq, on the other hand, had over one hundred parties running back in 2005. Yes, the religious parties won a majority, but they were fractured, unorganized, and had to deal with/compromise with secular parties.

Hamas is a terrorist organization and doesn't belong on a ballot anywhere.

We don't stop elections just because the Democrats may win. I think the Hamas victory actually gave the people an opportunity to regret their vote.
