My only problem with the President’s speech is that his administration is demanding Israel do exactly what he warned against. Directly negotiating with terrorists.

Yep, Schumer’s half right, there’s nothing below the belt and it’s good Bush pointed that out.

Where’s that crying baby?
I’ve always thought a guilty conscience plays a part in making people feel like everyone is talking about them. That and paranoia.
To: Red Steel
That’s the thing with “below the belt” punches, they almost always hit “pay dirt.”

Top Democratic leaders, including Sen. Chuck Schumer, called it a below-the-belt political attack.Of course Obama and the dems have NEVER used a below-the-belt political attack against the president.

*Ding Ding Ding* !!!
We have a winner!
The fact is, the Bush so-called 'Roadmap to Peace' is a roadmap to peace alright, "Rest In Peace Israel" is what will be the result of this ill-conceived and anti-God approach to the conflict between Israel and her neighbors.
I don't think the average American would appreciate it very much if the Israeli Prime Minister (Olmert at the moment) were to urge the United States to negotiate with the illegals roaming around the southwest due to our porous borders, and establish a homeland for those wandering criminal hordes.
Aztland, anyone?

The real kicker was “Plugs” Biden saying politics stops at the waters edge.

Bush’s administration is already negotiating with North Korea, so
HE’S ALREADY TALKING WITH TERRORISTS
HE’S ALREADY 1/3 IN AGREEMENT WITH OBAMA

The leftist Dems have no recourse but to support this first-class whiner with an MSM-supported media barrage defending appeasement. The net effect is like a burlap sack full of wet civet cats.

Mark Steyn was commenting about Obama's promise to "sit down and talk" to the thuggish President of Iran, the brutal Dictator of North Korea, and all the other crazy regimes out there.
He said the problem with the President of the United States doing this in such a public manner was that the minute you "sit down and talk" with them - it legitimizes their regimes and all of their crimes in the eyes of the world.

As I listened to McCain’s “2013” speech, I waited for him to say “Every person in America now recognizes the word ‘Aztlan.’ “
