I wish I could say the same but I can't. The article does provide some confidence in an "all's well that ends well" sense but do I want to wait for that. Then again, do I have an alternative?.
I guess what we have to hope for is enough of a series of national / international crises that will keep us focused on what is really at stake, i.e. this nation's survival, as opposed to whether Medicare gets a 2.5% or 3.0% COLA or whether the idiot California Supreme Court bends over and spreads wide. McCain will kick butt around the world as needed; Obambi will talk.
