“and don’t take your foot off his pencil-neck until he cries UNCLE....”

Would that be “Uncle” Jeremiah Wright by any chance?

Just wondering.

Obama and Hillary believe it is THEY (either one) who was supposed to be at that meeting, or at least included in that meeting. Therefore, they projected themselves into that meeting via their "personalizations" of comments which were addressed specifically to those at that meeting.

Metaphysically, Obama and Hillary (and the Dems) are saying -- they were "there" at that meeting.

They can surpass gravity and be in two places at once.

Firesign Theatre said it best: How Can You Be in Two Places at Once When You're Not Anywhere at All

In summary, it was a publicity stunt by BO and Democrats.

During Kerry's run for President, he did many such similar stunts, since he was faring so badly domestically -=- to pull the international community into weighing in "pro" his run for Presidency.

Could someone please explain, even if he HAD referenced Obama, or a whole bunch of Democrats, why it matters!!! He’s the President, he’s not running for re-election, he’s making a speech in a foreign country on an important occasion, why should it matter if he calls out a Democrat? It seems like a non-issue to me, no matter what he meant.

:) Sure. Could be Wright, or could be Obama himself, either way I’m happy.

Obama is not even the brain-trust they said he was.

It is all smoke and mirrors.

“We have an obligation to call this what it is — the false comfort of appeasement, ...”

So why was (Obama) sure (Bush) was talking about him?
I don’t know, but he passed his word association test.

From the article:

Furthermore, the terrorists themselves know a President Obama will engage with them. The chief political adviser to Hamas’ Gaza leader Ismail Haniyeh is on record as saying, “We like Mr. Obama, and we hope he will win the election.”

Also, McCain did point out that Hamas endorsed Obama. I saw and heard the clip myself on FoxNews.

“We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: ‘Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided.’ “

It’s the profoundly stupid narcissism of this statement that struck a nerve with Obama. Truth hurts.

-—<>-—<>-—<>-—<>-—<>-—

This is precisely why President Bush’s statement is having this effect: SnObama IS the ultimate appeaser. There is going to be no getting around it. McCain will not have to make any statements to people about this. All through the fall campaigns this subject will swirl and swirl like a tornado, no matter what how settled and great the Iraq situation is shown to be by then. Iran is NOT going to be settled by then, and most people with above-room temperatures know that Iran is extremely dangerous for the world. Appeasement is not the way to handle the world, as has been demonstrated throughout history, and as President Bush in his speech yesterday brilliantly called to the mind of the country.

SnObama has no chance to live down all his myriad faults.
