Williams forgot all about the 1980/1990 ozone hole scare. Remember the predictions of even if we act now, it is too late. $650 billion later all the Western world has new A/Cs while China and the developing nation produce more CFCs than ever. And guess what... NO OZONE HOLE>Yes but someone made lots of money.

Don’t knock Soylent Green.
It is a true warning of the world to come, if the “organic, locally sustainable, vegetarian” Greens get their way.

As well as every “Republican” who votes for John McCain who has bought it hood, line, and sinker.

Remember the predictions of even if we act now, it is too late.
And the collateral prediction that humans and other animals under
the ozone hole would all be going blind and/or dying of skin cancers.
Still waiting to hear about the human/animal-free zones of southern
Chile and Argentina!!!

"Ehrlich"
I remember back in the late sixties when Ehrlich made the rounds of all the talk shows in the wake of the popularity of his book. He had the look in his eyes of a fanatic...which of course he was. I wish I had the transcript of his interview on Carson's show. Carson was pretty much a skeptic of most of what the babbling classes spewed.

McCain has fallen for that crap...He is a Republican. He is a Democrat.
He calls himself a Republican and has fooled a lot of people - including the once great Republican party, but he is definitely a Democrat.
He can run around and tell everyone he's an elephant - he even has the elephants believing him. But I see a Jackass that hee-haws and has no gravitas, trunk nor other components of an elephant.

The world as we know it ceased to exist in January of 1993, what we see around us now is an unknown world.

civilization will end within 15 or 30 years unless immediate action is taken against problems facing mankind, biologist George Wald, Harvard University, April 19, 1970.

Sounds about right to me, I don’t see a whole lot of “civilization” around me these days, just a lot of sacrificing to the elephant god.

I like reading Erlich's stuff. He's nothing if not consistent!
I can go to bed each night knowing that whatever he says WILL NEVER HAPPEN!
