I need to consider a retirement from FR, it’s just so damn depressing these days.

Me too. Depressing and frustrating at the same time. I need a break.

I know how you feel. Especially with McQueeg's followers swooping upon you every time you voice the opinion that he's not earned your vote.

It's pretty depressing not having a candidate in this election. It's also liberating in a way.

You have no idea how many times I have thought the same thing. The more I read the political postings here and elsewhere all I can do is shake my head wonder why I keep doing this to myself.

Nah. Things are just starting to get sporty.

...Americans love to fight - traditionally. All real Americans love the sting and clash of battle. When you were kids, you all admired the champion marble player; the fastest runner; the big league ball players; the toughest boxers. Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a loser. Americans despise cowards. Americans play to win - all the time. I wouldn't give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed. That's why Americans have never lost, not ever will lose a war, for the very thought of losing is hateful to an American....
