No doubt the RINOs are applauding this decision.

My God let's people make decisions and then they are judged when they die, by God, not you.

Is your God the God of the Bible? If so, what do you have to say about the nations He judged because of their moral decisions? If not, what does your God say about it...how do you know what He thinks? And shouldn't the history of Rome and Greece give you pause?

not imposing my religious beliefs on everyone else.

If opposing gay marriage is a religious belief, why was it that no atheist state ever legalized it? Why has it been illegal in states run by Christians, Jews, Muslims, Shintoists, Buddhists, animists, pagans and atheists?

BTW, if you really think the whole "live and let live" thing is reasonable in this context, you need to see post 189. Avoiding demographic suicide is not sticking one's nose in other people's decisions.

"It doesn’t seem to matter how many times voters have spoken on any number of issues in California, and now a court that has 6 Republican Gub appointed Judges adds to the mess."

This just in -- Feinstein attaches an AgAmnesty bill to the Iraq funding bill and pushes it through the Appropriations Committee. Floor vote ahead in the next few days. This despite the fact that 80% - 85% of her constituents have consistently opposed amnesty and rewarding illegal aliens in any manner.

Good heavens, man, how can you possibly suggest that our political hacks don't care what we want? Next, you'lol be trying to persuade me that the latest brain fart from Arnie the Austrian socialist isn't a wonderful way out of the budget sewer he created--you know, the proposal to "securitize" the lottery revenue stream by selling bonds. Is our Governor great or what...

Definitely "what." I'd be banned for defining that. ;-)

we determine that the language of section 300 limiting the designation of marriage to a union “between a man and a woman” is unconstitutional and must be stricken from the statute

Then man and a sheep or woman and a dolphin and woman and her son and all are now legal, eh?

I gagged when the news was broadcast on Fox as: “These weren’t activist judges because most were Republicans.”

And Arnie is a raving right winger, too, since he’s ‘republican.’

We were warned that the constitutional marriage amendment was necessary and nobody listened.

Sow the wind and reap the whirlwind.

We get the president the nation deserves.

Remember Rose Byrd?

Time to recall/ impeach/ boot these social-justice minded justices from the California Supreme Court.

When are these 4 justices up before the voters to be affirmed/rejected?

Fred Phelps believes God should “bring judgment on America” because we’re tolerant of homosexuality. That’s exactly what was suggested here. What’s the problem?

You may not like the way he expresses his beliefs, but you share similar beliefs all the same.

Well your old testament beliefs are not mine. If you think God is going to destroy us for immorality after all our nation has done for the world, then perhaps you shouldn't stand near me when the lightening starts.

I often pray that people who want to impose their religious beliefs on the country do not get into power. I believe that is a foundational premise of our country.

Rome and Greece never give me pause. Rome didn't fall because of immorality, but if you want to discuss that old adage, well make your case and stand back.

I am talking about your religious belief and now you say it's not a religious belief. Make up your mind and quit squirming.

Slavery used to be legal almost every where, so what? Your analogies don't apply and you can't understand the basic principle of right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Maybe you should live in a theocracy.

There is more to marriage than saying “I do”.

I agree, and what marriage really means varies across faiths, which is why in a society where we value freedom of religion, government should have no role in defining it.

I’d say the odds of the Next “ Big One “ just shot off the charts..

those were my words almost verbatum to my husband a few minutes ago! Can't even let the grandchildren watch the " News" tonight. It is downright repulsive to watch these women and men!! Definitely Sodom and Gomorrah!

The government would stop interfering with “marriage” altogether. Marriage would be a religious institution, and the government would recognize something like civil unions instead. Opposite and same sex couples could get a civil union.

It keeps government out of religious marriage, and allows individual churches to determine whether or not they want to allow same sex marriage. It protects the word “marriage,” which is very important to some people, from government interference. Opposite and same sex couples could get a civil union.

NBC News just called it: “A big victory for gay rights!”

The MSM is a disgusting propaganda machine for the homosexual agenda. They now use the same terminology as the homosexual thought police...using euphemisms like "gay rights." Boycott all GE products. The earthquake cometh soon.
