If you repeat a lie enough....
Wishful thinking on McCain’s part.
I wanted to blow chunks everytime I heard his campaign called “The Straight Talk Express”.
That name is such a joke and if Juan can’t see that he is far too stupid to be President.
I guess I could look at it another way though.
It must have taken mighty big ba&ls to publicly appear under such a banner.

Illegal immigrants who broke our laws after they came here have been arrested and deported. Never mind that free pass on the whole illegal border crossing thing...

You need to read the whole thing first. He is talking about his vision of 2013, after his first term!

‘rat parsing and propaganda??

McCain has done enough to screw himself with his global warming BS. Why don’t you ax the mods to pull this thread since you jumped the gun on it?

Welcome to FR.
I suggest you shape up. Your headline is misleading.

We added the proper context. We want to leave it up as an example of the importance of context and not taking partial quotes at their face value. Kudos to all who pointed this out.

Oh, man. It’s not as if this site is overrun with McCain supporters . . . and you post what amounts to agitprop? Jeepers.

Maybe I was a little too quick?
BS. You f’n blew it. Nice work. I hear they're looking for volunteers down at the DNC.
And forget the little tag about “Oh he left himself an out”. You're the one looking for an out. You blew it.

John "Global warming is real!" McCain may be married to an heiress, but he's divorced from reality.
And as for his stand on "illegals"? Put it this way: follow the money. When his wife, Cynthia Heinz McCain, tries (and fails) to quietly divest the family from investments in Sudanese Islamofascist interests, that's all I need to know about the McCain stand on illegals. Can't sweep that one under the Persian carpet, Cindy! And no, that's not obfuscating the issue: if you haven't linked our open borders to Islamofascist designs on America, you're stuck on stupid.

Thanks Freepers for pointing out the context.
I didn’t watch the speech.

Dude, did you read the moderator addition to this thing? McCain the poster screwed the thread up from the beginning.
McCain or Obama will be president. Will you be doing anything to affect which one?

There’s an important lesson to be learned here: politicians should never talk about the future, lest someone thinks they are talking about the present. ;)

“Illegal immigration has been finally brought under control, and the American people accepted the practical necessity to institute a temporary worker program and deal humanely with the millions of immigrants who have been in this country illegally.”
He still will give them Amnesty.

There maybe something to that but this duffus let there McCain hate get the better of them. There is no way you pull something like this by accident. They knew they were posting an excerpt and they were cutting off the front to make a purposeful distortion.
I’m insulted that they thought Freepers were too stupid to catch on to what they were pulling. I guess they got bored with DU.
