How about do something to encourage US manufacturers to make better cars first?
You know that Toyota has had more recalls than Ford or Chevy lately? Additionally, Chevy has more vehicles in it's fleet that get 30+ MPG than Toyota does?
Where does that get press? GM has better initial quality now according to surveys in the last 3 years. Go figure.
