Didn’t Mrs Dole just vote “no” on drilling in Alaska?
I bet she’s stunned she got beaten for reelection. Mrs Dole, Americans are sick and tired of paying $3.50+ a gallon for $1.89 gasoline!
I don’t have a problem with drilling in ANWR, but a lot of people here seem to think it’s a magic bullet that’ll fix our energy problems. It’ll make a dent, but long term we need to use less oil. I trust the market to come up with an alternative; people are going to have to use something else with prices like this.
