How can that be when he possesses no positive attributes of nobility? He is not a man of character. He is a traitor and an opportunist.
However, if McCain plays his cards right he could hang on to Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada. All States that Obama feels he can flip into his column.
Between Bush and McCain, McCain will play hell just keeping a hold on traditional red states- He has so thoroughly pissed off the average Republican voter so completely that Republican turnout will be lacking to say the least.
As to picking up any blue states, he is selling the same liberalism as Obama and Clinton- Why would they vote for him when either of the others is a known 'true believer'?
McCain is a waste of time. The only chance of success (and coattails) is to rally behind one of the 3rd or independent candidates.
When he wins, don’t claim credit for it, that’s my only request. Don’t say that his VP choice made the difference, or Obama was so weak that McCain was default candidate. Just step back and say you were wrong, and McCain has broad appeal and he won fair and square.
