Nazis all! You're right; but it's a little easier to swallow knowing that at least the legislature and governor are Smoke Nazis of a representative kind--able to be voted out and face the wrath of the voters.

Government tyranny has clogged more morgues and hospitals than tobacco ever could. At least with tobacco, I can choose whether or not I want to take the risk. Tyranny, unfortunately, does not allow one to opt out.
