I agree with LS. I am not sure that McCain will actually use his power to make sure a true conservative ends up on the SCOTUS. Will he nominate a few? Sure. Will he fight for them? If his legislative pandering to the most liberal of Dems like Feingold and Kennedy is any sign, I am not encouraged by a President MCain.

Yes, I'm a fortune teller. I guarantee you this: if McCain gets in, he'll make Bush 41 look like Barry Goldwater. Taxes will go up; the environmental weenies will run business into the ground; the US will absolutely lose its international business position; Gitmo will be closed; the terrorists will laugh at us while McCain seeks international "approval" of necessary military action; and the illegals will pour in.
