Who’s been blaming India and other developing nations for the rise in food prices? This story doesn't pass the smell test. And BTW, We The People should be lighting the torches and marching on DC now. Enough is enough.

"Why do Americans think they deserve to eat more than Indians?" Uh, maybe because we grew much of that food and in our "free-market" society the government doesn't tell us what we may buy and how much we can eat (at least not yet!) Mississippi and a few other states have sadly floated some trial balloons in that direction...

I didn’t even know India had all that much to do with our food supply; I rather thought it was the other way around, America being the breadbasket of the world and all that.
Not that I don’t need to be eating less.
