There hardly seems to be any anger in Chapel Hill about this crime.

The message boards at Inside Carolina were filled with Eve Carson stuff for about a week; then as soon as the ACC tournament kicked in, it was as though it had never happened:

Rather, the academia is intent on looking at Carson’s death as “society’s fault” rather than the two perps in this case. There hasn’t been a single expression of “let’s seek justice” in the media.

The liberal mind can't deal with the Eve Carson case because her story exposes all the internal contradictions inherent to the liberal approach to our looming demographic disaster.

Eve Carson was the perfect little poster child for liberal guilt and liberal race assuagement & race appeasement; she travelled to Ecuador, Egypt and Ghana, she studied in Cuba, and she tutored at Frank Porter Graham Elementary School and Githens Middle School:

The liberal mind just can't fathom how the natives could rise up and slaughter someone with such stellar bona fides, so the liberal mind has to segment off the information, build a wall around it, and forget that it exists - and ultimately deny that it ever existed in the first place.

To do otherwise would be to admit that their entire world view is a solipsistic fantasy - but the remedy of their denial is to delve on into even deeper solipsism and wilder fantasy.

Her folks in Athens haven’t said anything to that effect either.

I often wonder about her parents - surely she must have inherited her liberalism from them.

So what is going through her parents' minds? Have they decided that Caucasian lives are not worth living - are not worth being created in the first place - which is to say, like so many Caucasians, have they now chosen the suicidal route?

Or have they decided to forget and deny - to forget and deny that they ever had a daughter named Eve?

Or do you suppose that there has been lit in them a seething anger of rage and vengeance [and, God forbid, a desire to live]?
