[Paleo Conservative]

I took Aleve just once. I got sick & my head pounded. I am not sure if it was because of other meds I was taking but I avoid Aleve & will never take it again. I remember getting a really salty taste in my mouth too.

I sometimes take it for back pain. I had back surgery 7 years ago. I have to take naprocyn on a full stomach, and I often will take a couple of antacids with it. Sometimes I'll even take an acid reducer like Pepcid AC with it too.

I am on prevacid & I wondered if that was why it made my head pound. Maybe they didn't agree with each other... I asked my doctor & he said some meds just aren't for some people. So I take Advil when I must but usually I deal just with the pain.

I have only taken naproxen sodium (Aleve) a few times. I didn’t have any problem with it but taking it on full stomach is a good idea. I didn’t think it worked any better than ibuprofen my usual pain/headache remedy.
