Well, now, how about that? Pain medicine that doesn't have any effect on Alzheimer's. Who would of thunk it? All this time and I thought that pain killers were for alleviating pain.

I was prescribed celebrex for an arthritic hip and I found it to be completely usless or that as well.

I took Aleve just once. I got sick & my head pounded. I am not sure if it was because of other meds I was taking but I avoid Aleve & will never take it again. I remember getting a really salty taste in my mouth too.

The arthritis drug Celebrex and the over-the-counter painkiller Aleve showed no benefit on thinking skills, new findings show. Earlier results from the same research showed the two drugs didn't prevent Alzheimer's, at least in the short term. I thought the point of them was to reduce or prevent it over the long term like 30 or 40 years?
