Why the hell not.
There’s not much left to lose at this point except for a continuation of the criminal idiocy pretending at leadership in washington.
It’s high time to hoist the Jolly Roger and start cutting throats. Metaphorically speaking of course!
It was Thomas Jefferson, but here is what he REALLY should have said:
“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants . . . Poured out on a black granite altar from a copper chalice, to the sound of pounding drums, as drug tranced maidens dance in naked frenzy under a dusky red lunar eclipse.”
Here’s the sound-bite version of what I want a presidential candidate to promise:
1. Abolish the IRS
2. Cut spending
3. Ignore the tree-huggers
4. Secure the borders
5. Kill the terrorists
6. Smack the hippies
If the Falcon Party is for all of these, count me in.
Jefferson said it during his period of intoxication with the French Revolution - when he was on the outs with the other two.
He got better.
How about we all do that for about four years starting in January? Quit our jobs, go on welfare, and bankrupt the system until the parasites in government realize that WE make the economy work, NOT bureaucrats, politicians, or government programs, and that we won't just lay there and get raped forever.
CP party members are welcome to join us. Those that are true CP believers will avoid us due to our aggressive stance against terrorists and terror states.
This, or something very similar is desperately needed. But this could founder on the same rocks as Ross Perot and every other third party effort.
The Falcon Party may see itself as doing the work the GOP has abandoned, but there are too many things that can go wrong. The core of any such party MUST be composed of people who know exactly what they are doing. This party has to build a national base and it must have the internal discipline to fight off being divided and factionalized.
Also, the GOP is not without its tricks. Remember what happened to David Duke. He was winning AS a Republican in Louisiana. The horrified GOP immediately put out Pat Buchanan as the antidote to David Duke, and it worked beautifully. Pat made a pretty good run for the nomination, but couldn’t build big enough a group.
The Falcon Party would have the same problem. You may pride yourself on being strongly conservative, but you too will want to pull in voters who don’t necessarily buy into to each and every position of the party. So, how far will you stretch?
These and other questions need to be answered in order to build a long term plan of funding, organization and activism.
If we can’t save our country through the republican party we’ll have to do it using another vehicle. There are too many bums in both parties who are ruining our country and thumbing their nose at us. How can we continue to pay taxes to people who side with illegal aliens over American citizens?
"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.
You ought to see it.
Thanks for the clarification.
Yeah, that’s the Thomas Jefferson I know.
“How can we continue to pay taxes to people who side with illegal aliens over American citizens?”
Taxation without representation for certain.
That sounds too much like a General Strike, which is a leftist-socialist tactic.
I like that one, Atomic.
I love it when ‘duty’ is added.
A complete strike will send them home also. if nobody is buying, nobody is needed for work. there will be a few people work regardless. But not enough to keep things moving.
If 50 million people stayed home from work just one day, left the car in the garage, and stayed home the resulting example of what consumers can do will hit the government in the face hard.
Who said we have to invent a new way of getting attention?
I see nothing wrong with a general strike for the right reasons. We are not asking for more pay or better living standards, we are asking for a government that listens to the people.
Nothing gets a governments attention faster than a loss of revenue.
This is the quote:
Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats
Carry on
:)
Jesus Christ man, that’s tribalism at its core.
