“And you vote in the only possible way to deny Obama power.”
Bull! I wanna vote FOR someone!! I’ll just vote FOR Ralph Nader who makes no pretense to trying to think like me!!!

It’s not really supposed to be about what you “want”. It’s supposed to be a selfless act that denies power to the worst choice.
No one ever has been able to support all of a candidate’s positions. Generally not possible. There will always be some aspect of position that is not aligned.
So you pick the rightward most candidate who is viable. That’s not Obama.
Is that the official RINO definition of a representative republic? lol
ROTFLMAO, now where in the hell did you come up with that BS? That is a sick perversion of the reason why we vote. If that were the case, why bother? Only a rabid RINO McCainiac could come up with a horse apple explanation like that designed to sound principled.LOL, too funny.
I'm sure you are a really nice person, Owen, and if we should ever get to know one another better, I'll bet I might grow to think well of you, but I'm sorry, I couldn't disagree with that statement more!!!
I do NOT believe that altruism is a virtue! Especially when it comes to exercising my precious voting franchise that others have died to make available to me!!
Their act of ultimate altruism in a world where altruism would best be elimininated, but can't seem to be because of the evil in it, was to free me from the tyranny of the majority mob rule and allow me to vote FOR the ideas and representatives I WANT, NOT be complelled to vote for the lesser of two evils.
Of those two evils, I'm still being told to vote for an evil and I refuse to move us ever closer to "the dark side" with my precious voting franchise toward EVIL!!!
It is in the religious compartment of my life that I give full reign to altruism, not the legal, social, or political compartment!
