I don't see anything wrong with paying people to do "leg work" in canvassing for votes. How is this any different from paying your campaign staff to print flyers or ditribute buttons?

Where I have a problem is when parties bus voters to the polls and give them coffee, t-shirts, or anything else. That smacks of paying for a vote.

But....

Are they given the cash as payment (taxable!) for their labor in “getting out the vote” ...

Or are they given the (tens of thousands!) in cash to give to VOTERS for their votes?

Notice that that it IS cash, that there is no accountability, that it is GIVEN by democrat campaigns to give to people for voting.

Come on. This ain't honest. It pure bribery.

Now, why would a DEMOCRAT legislator demand MONEY to go campaign for a democrat candidate? How much was HIS vote/support worth?

What NEXT can I buy his vote for if I'm willing to spend 38,500.00 in cash?
