That's all I'll say about this .... because ... I ... forget ... the .... rest.
That's it! I didn't really hear McCain's speach yesterday and become depress! I was having a hallucination from those corn flakes I ate! ...Uh, wait a minute...I didn't eat any corn flakes yestersay...I haven't had any in years...OH NO! It was for real!!!
Global warming made me fat. It caused my gray, thinning hair. It made the dashboard crack on my Pinto. It’s the reason I had to move out of my parents basement at 35. It causes tooth decay. It was responsible for my divorce. It made my dog cough.
Read the labels. There’s corn starch in a lot of products. Of course, if you eat fresh meats and vegetables, and whole grains, you avoid the worst of everything anyway.
It’s the processed stuff that gets packed with “ingredients”.
(I’m no fanatic... I’m just saying...)
There goes my breakfast. Literally.
Those ingredients will get you every time.
Don’t fret. McCain is here to SAVE THE GLOBE!!
I generally try to avoid anything in which the ingredient list says “continued on other side” or the items on the list read like the contents of an advanced chemistry set.
I particularly love the ones in which one of the ingredients gets a sub-list (in parenthesis) of its own.
Perfect.
Ha! I’ve earned the gruging repect of the smarter NYC libs in my office. I dare say I’ve gotten some to rethink their positions.
As I commute on the train right now it’s still cold. I think I’ll go in and state as I often do:
“Everyone’s talking about global warming but nobody’s doing anything about it! Enough talk! Let’s make this global warming happen already!”
This plague is already upon us. Algore and cohorts exhibit the symptoms of having eaten the tainted corn flakes. They are not dieing fast enough, though.
Global Warming is going to turn Tony The Tiger into a killer. Is there nothing that Global Warming won’t cause, or nothing the warmists won’t try to calim it will cause?
Ummm... yeah, Europe is a LOT colder than Texas...or even Iowa. And this plague hit Europe, during Europe’s COLD SPELL. So how, exactly, does this relate to global warming?
Would you feel better if stick figures were running back and fourth?
After my 1 1/2 year old Jack Russel terrier died, the vet had her liver examined and it was found that her liver was destroyed by an AFLOTOXIN. In other words, something moldy that she ate in the back yard. I say it was something moldy from the yard because the other dogs didn’t get sick and they all ate the same dog food.
Sorry about your dog.
Every now and then a high level of aflatoxin-contaminated corn gets into dog food. There seems to be a genetic predisposition for susceptibility.
Diamond pet food recall in 2005 was the most recent incident. There were reports of “dozens” of pet deaths, many with situations similar to yours - some multiple pet owners had only one pet die.
There is a dog food called Canine Caviar which sells a lamb and pearl millet mix. They do not advertise lower aflatoxin levels compared to brands made with corn, but it would be interesting to check.
The answer is to cap-and-trade aflatoxins obviously. /s
“Could this be a cereal killer? ; )”
Ha haaa! Good one!
