I can't believe a pro-gun, hard core 2nd Amendment supporter like Beck is the host of a pro-gun hour long talk show on Ted Turner's CNN Headline News channel, but it's true. I never thought I would be doing advertising on FR for a CNN channel, but I am. This all seems kinda weird somehow

Something has been weird since he made that move. his constant ranting on the ‘death spiral’ of the economy ties him in a bit closer with the socialists though.

Hold on a minute....isnt he a MORMON?!?!
He must have twelve underage wives!
OMG!...everyone duck before the mormonazis come stomping in and accuse us all of supporting child rape!..
*snicker*
(hey..I coined a new term!)

He may be a Mormon, I don’t know for sure. But if he is he’s an outspoken pro-2nd Amendment Mormon, and I’ll bet that all his wives are too. (-:

I hope some solid arguments are made on his show. Me too, he has a large audience. I'll watch at 9 PM EST when he comes on my satellite and see who his pro-gun guests will be. I'm assuming that he will have both pro-gun and anti-gun guests because arguments and controversial guests are the bread and butter of talk shows.

I smell the scent of a victory in the culture wars.

his constant ranting on the death spiral of the economy ties him in a bit closer with the socialists though.Yeah I know, some of his ideas on domestic fiscal policy are not mainstream by any means, and his ideas on international trade policy are a tad on the protectionist side to put it mildly.
Personally, I haven't heard him advocate anything that sounded like socialism to me, and he advocates lowering taxes on the rich and on businesses. But I only watch the first 1/2 of his show and then I switch over to Jeopardy, so I don't see his entire show or hear everything he has to say.

I smell the scent of a victory in the culture wars. As CNN edges a wee smidgen to the right FoxNews leaps 1/4 mile to the left. I'm not so sure that we're winning ground as fast as we're losing ground.

Incomprehensible is not a new term.

I agree but I find his constant tirades to be boring. Something doesn’t make sense with a true conservative being on CNN so I’ve been suspicious since he joined them. I can’t watch an entire show but some segments are good.
I also don’t believe CNN would allow a pro gun show.

Caught his radio show this morning with the NRA's Chris Cox - They talked about the absurdity of Bloomberg's attempt to squelch any mention of the 2nd Amendment in the upcoming NYC lawsuit against Adventure Outdoors. They also discussed the huge disparities between Obama's and Hillary's current "pro-second" posturing and their actual voting records. Cox said that the NRA has also had a few differences with McCain in the past, but that they pale in comparison to both Dem candidates.
Beck is the "keynote speaker" at the NRA convention this year - An interesting choice on the NRA's part, considering that he wasn't even an NRA member until very recently.
