I worked at Sterling Beef in Sterling,Colorado (on the kill floor) and was one of only a handful of (what I was led to believe) American citizens employed.

Wages went down to crap when they used illegals to break the union and they finnally closed the doors when ICE kept raiding the plant. Everything moved to Ft Morgan. Wages went from the $20.00 with benifits to maybe $11.00 after years on the floor. $20.00 was in the 1970s what does that tell ya about what illegals do to wages?
