My (white)ex-wife went to Howard and one of her professors gave her an “F” even though she had a 4.0 score in the class. He said he failed her because she was taking a spot that should have gone to a black. She had to go to the regents to get it overturned. No action was taken against the teacher.

I guess what I am addressing is how I see things in my daily life. I work with Blacks, Philipinos, Chinese, Russians, Armenians, Hispanics, Japanese... you name it. I honestly don’t think of them as anything other than a person. I never think of them in terms of what race they are, unless I’m trying to describe them to someone else, for identity purposes.

I don’t say to myself, that Black Robert, he sure is a great employee. I don’t say, that Armenian woman is sure a great worker. I say Robert and Maria are great workers.

Isn’t that what you do? Why is it that the media and minorities can’t deal with others in the same manner?
